Index Error

HI need to know what's an index error? Can someone tell me me to correct this it comes up everytime I open my computer kinda annoying also bsod with different numbers showing everytime I had Bsods.Maybe once in a day?

If your computer continues to scan your hard drive on every start up, then you need to think about transferring your data to another drive and do a diagnostic test on it. It will tell you whether the drive is good or not. Usually doing a format and reinstall will solve your problem, it did mine a while back anyway.

Outside of doing a fresh install of the OS, do you have the OS install disk? If so, you could try doing a repair install and seeing if that fixes your issue.

Do I need to use Western Dgital Dianostic tools, my hd were both WD ( 160GB each )? Ya i do have Window XP-OS the only thing It really a pain in the butt to install OS and install again some of my programs and load other files. Is there any other alternative to repair it?

A repair install won't uninstall any of your programs, it just checks for core Windows files that may be corrupt or missing and recopies them. Use this method: http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm
