I am facing a strange problem.The problem is that I bought a pen drive from my fren and plugged it into my PC.In his pen drive there is a folder named new folder which cannot be deleted but I double clicked it on it.And I think the folder contained virus and has infected my PC.Now in the tools tab there is no folder option and I cannot see my hidden file.Next I cannot open up task manager when I try to open it it says task manager has been disabled by your administrator.So what has gone wrong here.Can you figure it out and help me pls?

Download antivirus or antispyware and check your system. Also if processor activity is that high you may use HijackThis tool: http://www.2-spyware.com/hjt.php

Well since I have formated my PC it's running good but my fren is still having problem.He is not able to format even his pen drive.Whenever he tries a message pops out which says it's being in used and cannot be formated.I told him to kill the process first but can't even open task manager just like mine.A error message pops out task manager has been disabled by admin.So what should we do now?

You can create a windows boot disk and try formatting it outside of the OS.

I faced with the same problem and i had to format the pen drive. You should first format the pen drive , than you should downlaod or install a good antivirus softarware. Update it and then perform the scan. It wil detect the virus and clear it. If it still does not works, then reinstall the windows.
