Hi, If I have 3 partitions 2 of them have windows on it and one of them is just used for storage is it possible for a virus, worm, or whatever you call it to infect one windows partition and then jump to another windows partition even though it is across partitions. Same question for my storage partition. Thanks

Yes if you are infected and you opened an exe file for example from the storage drive... it gets infected too.

Is that the only way another partition can get infected (opening a .exe file)by anyone of the evils (viruses, worms, spyware etc.)? Thank you
