Hello guys,

Today my computer showed me a message that said "infiltration alert" which says that my computer is attacked. I can't open anything in my pc because it says that the program is infected, that is everything in my pc is infected except internet browsers. I downloaded anti virus program but now can't open that either.

Please guys help me on that. What should i do?

This should be in the security section, but here's the standard procedure:

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from http://www.download.com/Malwarebyte...4572.html?part=dl-10804572&subj=dl&tag=button and save it to your desktop.

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to
o Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
o and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
* then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version. Please keep updating until it says you have the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* A log will be saved automatically which you can access by clicking on the Logs tab within Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

If you continue to experience problems after doing this, please post a HijackThis log by doing the following:

Download the HijackThis installer from http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en...HJTInstall.exe.

Run the installer and choose Install, indicating that you accept the licence agreement. The installer will place a shortcut on your desktop and launch HijackThis.

Click Do a system scan and save a logfile

Most of what HijackThis lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.

Post the logfile that HijackThis produces along with the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware log and a detailed description of the problems you are experiencing in your own thread. Please do not post your log in someone else's thread, even if you have the same problem as they do.

Thank you so much for your reply.

I download the Malware bytes but it is not launching. And the HijackThis is giving me an error. What should I do now?

Thanks.

Rename the .exe files for both to something like 123abc and see if they run. some malware can stop programs of a certain name launching.

Fixed a similar problem a couple weeks ago for someone. She brought her laptop to me, only hers was saying she must download an antivirus program in order to get rid of the virus, however that popup was the virus and was trying to get her money. Sh ecouldn't op[en anything but web browser, and couldn't install anything.

Took her hard drive out of her computer, put it in mine as a slave, ran a virus scan of the drive from my computer and it cleared it out. Ran a full scan of all drives to make sure it hadn't left anything on my system or her drive, and then put the hard drive back in her computer, and all was good :)

Is the virus not letting you run your antivirus software? If so, what I put above, or formatting would be the only things I could think of that would work, as you can't use any programs on that drive thanks to the virus
