Inkjet vs laser in hot climate

I need to replace my old inkjet printer. The main problem i have with my inkjet is that i use it very little and everytime i come to use it i have to clean the nozzle like 3 times before it will start printing properly (dries up in the hot climate). I also think the cartridges dry up somewhat and this leads to a very expensive printer, which i hardly use. Would this problem be solved by a laser printer, i mainly only print documents?

In my opinion, the Laser Printer would be better. Since inkjets are water based ink, and Laser is a powder base.
