Input Lag on GTA

So I got GTA and on story mode, I get around 80 FPS and it's nice and smooth. But when I tried online, it is so laggy. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

Specs:
Core i7 6700HQ
GTX 965M 4gb
12gb Ram
1tb hdd
5400 rpm

(I am sure it's not my internet)

Are you using wireless or ethernet cable? For the heck of it, go here and do a speedtest and post the results.

I run GTV online with an old ASUS laptop buried at 60fps on medium/high settings @1080p with these specs.. must be internet connection.

My little brother and I had a similar issue on our rigs. Ended up being a combo of the ethernet cable and port.

Make sure all your drivers are up to date, and check to see if the cable is still in good shape.

That no good for laptop/mobile though
