Inside a hard drive

THats not even a 7200, thats a really old 4500, so its not even close to a 10k raptor or a 15k SCSI- that i would like to see.

how do you know it's a 4500?

P.S= you have 1 old rig lol, your old system, what windows you running? i have older RAM laying around, i think 18MB 2 sticks, and other older parts.

Im pretty sure its a 4500, cuz its got the old "i" shape, with the main, square bottom with the read arms, then the semicircle platter part. They dont do that anymore.
My old comp- it ran win95, dont know if it could have run anything else. u sure about 18mb? that sounds improbable...

i think soo? i think i see 16MB, or 18MB on a sticker on there. it's still running 95? did you try linux? i would max the ram, is that the max? and try 2 get a faster CPU.

No, im saying that 18mb modules are improbable since thats not a number you could have cuz its not a square number like 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64. my 16mb of ram was two sticks of 8mb, prob running at like 66MHz.
Edit: i took the poor thing apart a long time ago, put it back together, still worked! but i took it apart to mess with, and now i dont have enough parts to to anything. i even had the RAM- like stick of cache mem for the CPU, it was 64k i think...

you know what, i think they maybe 16mb sticks, because, if i can remember right, my old computer had 32mb ram. you post pics of your new and old rigs here.
