Inspiron 6000 CPU

While I was taking my computer apart for cleaning, I saw that the CPU says 1.7/2M/400

What is the 400? Is that the bus speed? And what is the 2M?

id imagine it means

1.7 = 1.7 Ghz

400 = 400Mhz FSB

And i think

2M = 2MB cache (l2)

Is that the bus speed? Because I have read that they all have 533Mhz cpu's, but I saw that when I took it apart.

Also, I read somewhere that I have a 64kb cache.

the cpus in the inspiron 6000 series are both 400 Mhz and 533 Mhz FSB as i believe quite a few pentium 4s of that era did
you have an L2 cache of 2 MB what you are talking about is the L1 cache which is not 64 KB but infact 32 KB
You may be thinking of the bus width or something, just for you to confirm, i just found the manual for the inspiron 6000

Hm. Well thanks. I am kind of disappointed though. Now my processor is as slow as the processor my mom has that was made in '01.
