Instaling new graphics card help please !

This may sound stupid but how hard is it to install a new graphics card into a PC. Just a simple AGP4x thingy. Also are there any risks involved.
 
its fairly easy, you can't put them in backwards or anything. All you really have to watch out for is not seating them properly
 
Ok thanks so basically I put the card in when computer is turned off. Then turn it on and install the drivers or what ever. Also dont you need the card to boot up your computer. :confused:
 
Yes. Also, take a few seconds to study the AGP slot on your motherboard. There should be some kind of latch to secure the card once it's been inserted.

exactly, when you put your new card in and turn on your computer windows will start up and say it found new hardware and install drivers
