install linux on windows virtual pc.

I am trying to install fedora (or any linux) on windows virtual pc. I am on a laptop but it is dual core and 2gb of ram. Whenever i try to install it it takes FOREVER. Any help

Which Fedora are you trying to install? I know I had trouble with FC5, the live CD would work fine, but when I tried to install it would just hang. I tried both an install on VMWare and on my normal hardware, with the same issue.

I had no such problem with FC7.

One thing you might check (Which I never did at the time I had the problems) is your MD5 or SHA1 checksum to make sure the image you are using is good.
