Install Win2K without CD drive?

I have an old Fujitsu Lifebook B-series that has no CD drive nor a floppy drive.

What are the options if I want to re-install Win2K on it? I know getting a docking CD drive is probably the best option but I rather not spend the money.

Are there any other options? Can I do it remotely through the network?

Thanks!

yes you should be able to install windows 2000 over the network to another computer if another one of your computers have a cd drive you can just go through the network and install to the pc you want to.

How do I do that? Don't I have to choose one of the local hard drives to install it on?

(I have a desktop in my office with CD/DVD drive that is on a network domain, I have the Win2K CD-ROM, and the laptop connected to the network)

Would it be easier to directly connect the laptop to the desktop with a network cable? Peer-to-peer or whatever it's called?

I really appreciate your help/advice.
