I think the manuals that come with those items should show you how to install everything. If not, you can just google it. "How to install a dvd burner" etc.

Also did you order the right kind of ram, and does your case support the dvd drive, and wireless card?

I would suggest getting the book building a pc in easy steps by stuart yarnold, its only like $10 you can fnd it at your local bookstore.

yeah that kind of stuff really isn't all that hard. just gotta remember the jumpers, and to get the right kind of memory, etc. And, uh, definitely unplug the thing (I would hope this is something I could leave unsaid, but who knows?) before you do the work

the wireless card should just pop right in the pci slot, make sure you get it set in there good. the memory should pop right in, and as for the dvd burner, just see how your other drive is/was hooked up.

awesome guys, thanks for your help, everything installed great...

BUT

my original cd rom drive does not work anymore! even when i click the button to open it, its getting no power. i was thinking that i hookied up the wrong wires with it ( i think there were 2 of the same wires that would fit in the back of the dcd burner) ?

huu? master and slave?
Jumper settings (little black things) on the back of the drive. The position the jumper needs to be in should be printed on the top of the drive. Assuming you have two drives connected to the IDE cable, one will need to be master and the other slave.

i can choose which one the master and slave is? ( master is the cd rom drive, and the slave is the dvd burner?)
Yes, that will work fine - you just need to adjust the jumpers on the back of the drives into the correct position.
