I'm having problems installing a game. Actually it won't even get that far.
I insert the disc into the drive and go to D: drive... it takes a few minutes to read the disc and when it's finished, it says there's no files on there... There was one time after a few attempts when it did read the disc and all the files were showing, but i accidently closed the window and now i can't get it working again...
I doubt very much it's a faulty disc because it's happened with two different discs, but the same game title.
I hope i'm making sense...
I just really want to play this game but the computer won't read the disc.
I've tried other discs and they seem to be working and the system requirements of the game state it only works on Windows 98 and higher so XP should work too.
On Monday (hopefully), i'm getting some more memory and updating the graphics card. Will that help, do you think? I'd have thought if there was a problem with my graphics or memory, it would have whined at me and told me, but instead it just doesn't read the discs.
Do you have any idea what's wrong and what i can do?
