Installing a fan on the top of my case

Hey, I have a xion solaris case, and the airflow is pretty horrible. I'm trying to make it better by adding a 120mm fan to the top of the case to let air out. I have one 80mm fan at the bottom front of the case, an 80mm at the side and an 80mm in the back. Theres also a pci fan at the bottom of my case, but it doesnt let any air out (just moves it around). If I install the fan at the top, would it make my airflow better? Can you guys tell me the pros and cons?

Pros:
More airflow
Better Temps
Longer component life due to cooler temps

Cons:
the $8 it takes for a 120mm fan? idk...

This is if your meaning like an intake/exhause fan by the way...

I added a 120 to the top of my case.

Originally had it exhausting, but I got better temps when I turned it around to blow cool air into the case. Cool air goes right to the CPU cooler intake and onto the top GPU.

thanks for the pictures. I'm going to be doing it myself so I was wondering where you could buy those 120mm fan grills?

another question to add, what would be the best way to cut the hole on the top of my case?

well pretty much nowhere sells 120mm circular drill bits so the best way is tin snips or dremmel. Afterwards polish the edges with a different dremmel attatchment or you can do it by hand with wire wool or something else that is abrasive to the metal, but be careful of the paintwork on top ;)

and remember when you are doing it, you aren't a maching, you won't be able to get a totally 100% perfect circle, just get it as close to circular as you can and the grill will cover it up for you

another question that it sort of random, would a lian li 5.25'' drive mesh cover fit on a xion solaris case? Im considering adding another fan to the front (80mm).
