Installing a HDD in my Notebook Everex StepNote SK

Hello

My name is Susanne Hübner and I come from Germany. My English is not the best, so please don't worry about my mistakes ;-) I've bought an used Notebook at eBay. It's from Everex and is called "Stepnote SK". But there is no cable or adapter to install a normal IDE HardDiskDrive, only this kind of connector (40 pins). Now I need the pinnames of this connector to connect them with a normal IDE connector. The List of a normal IDE connector is below:

Now I need a list of the Pins of the connector on the mainboard of my Everex. I would be very happy If you can help me and I'll promise that you will help many people here in Germany!! A little group exists that have the same problem like me!!

Hi Cromewell

I had the same Idea, but I did not find any SCSI-Connector with 40 Pins. The Minimum are 50 Pins for a SCSI Connector.
Do you know a Contact Mail of the firm Everex? Is it an american firm?
Do anyone know somebody, who has a notebook from Everex?
