Installing a network card

Just asking for tips of how to best go about installing a network card into a desktop PC. This will be the first time that I have done anything like this and was just wanting to know what to look out for and what things not to do.

there is nothing to it, just plug it into the pci port

make sure the pc is unpluged from the mains it is recommended that you use a antistatic wrist band but as long as you are touching a metal part of the cas you will be fine,
take the side off and look for the white slots under the graphic card remove the metal pci back plate push the card into the slot and screw down to where the back plate was, fit side back and plug everything back in ,turn the pc on and install the disk you got, hope this helped.
