Installing a new graphics card

So.. what do I do?

Currently I have an onboard card. And the card in question is a Radeon 9550.

So, what steps do I do, and in what order? Do I uninstall/disable the onboard card before installing the new one? Do I have to change any BIOS settings or anything? etc etc.

Just plug it in and plug your monitor into it. If you see stuff on the monitor then you are pretty much done, you might want to check in the BIOS for anything to disable the onboard video but often the onboard is automagically disabled.
