The computer I'm using has AT&T Uverse internet. I have another cpu set up next to it. I need one for gimp and other software. I can't have my first cpu be slowed down with those kind of programs. I need to install internet in the second computer but I have no idea. The Modem thing has an extra ethernet spot, one for the 1st cpu and one for the 2nd cpu and both are connected. yet the second computer still has no internet. I don't see any installation stuff on the website. I want to do it myself and not have the company send some guys. Is it even possible? or do I actually have to have them come down? Both ethernets are connected. I've been using my psp to transfer documents from one computer to the other like programs and stuff. Could someone help mefind the install thing? sorry nut sure what its called and I'm computer retarded. I'm not even sure if I put this thread in the right place.

if your router has more than one port all you should need to do is connect the computer to the roouter through the network cards?
take the wire from the 1st pc and put it in the second pc?
if it doesnt work you may need to install the driver for it.
if it works take the wire out the router and put it in the other router port.
if it doesnt work there is something wrong with that port?
put the other wire in the router and 1st pc does it work?
if not it may be a broken/wrong cable
