Installing OS on client machine through server.

My question is that suppose we don't have CD/DVD drive in pc and also USB booting is not supported by system then how can we install fresh copy of OS on machine with the help of server. How can we configure or perform this task.

What OS, exactly? With Linux, it's pretty straightforward since you can just pull out the dard disc and set the installer up such that it runs off the HD; Debian and Slackware make this pretty easy. I'm not sure what you mean by server, though - if you're thinking of PXE boot, that'll be far more complicated and can't really be adequately explained in a forum post, you'd be better off googling a guide and then asking here about specific issues should you have any.

well you could temporary hook up a cddrive to it just to install a os,

or take out harddrive - put in another computer - copy os to harddrive - then put back in and install from harddrive,

or update the bios to a newer one that will boot from usb

or install os from a main server that is connected to the clients computers
