Installing OSX on PC

I was wondering if it is possible to install OSX on a PC? The specs are in my signature. If it is possible how well would it run? Would I need to buy a new keyboard for the special MAC commands? Would I need a new mouse for MAC options? Also, if I can install it what are the steps to do so?

Ehh, well I merely thought of the idea, I had never heard of it because I figured Apple would only allow OS X to run on their hard drives.

Apple doesn't make hard drives. The ones in them are the same as PC ones.

Yes, it is most likely possible with your computer, but you will have to find out somewhere else on how, as it is against the rules here.

You know, they have probably such a good, and useful OS but overpriced equipment.

ill edit this for you so it doesnt turn into a mac vs pc

The equipment is very expensive because of the all the features, it is not overpriced but most dont need half the features of mac.

there that sounds a bit better than just saying overpriced

That's software FOR the operating system, not the OS itself...Windows has a lot of stuff that you won't find on Mac, as well. In the end, though, you can usually do pretty much the same thing on either...the big exception being games.

I am curious, what exactly does Windows have in the OS itself, or via Microsoft add on software that OS X doesn't?

I'm curious as well... Sure Windows has some free cheap games, but Mac's come with more useful software.

You can still use several of them on Win7, AFAIK.

That's definitely not everything, though...look through the download center. A lot of the stuff is business/education centered, but useful none the less.

That doesn't come with the OS though, there are also several programs you can download for Mac's from the Apple website.
