Im gonna install two different version of linux on my laptop and get rid of vista. just got some questions before i tackle this.
1. Do i need to do anything to prepare the laptop before removing vista? such as partition the drive first..or after removal.
2. At what point should i partition my harddrive (splitting it 50/30)? and is there a program to do this?
3. Im installing Ubuntu to be my main os, and slackware to be just an extra os. will doing this cause problems, also i assume that it asks u which os it should load at startup.
that should be it.
thanks
