Installing video drivers

Do I have to delete the old video card drivers every time I install newer ones?

I would if you are changing cards.

Windows has a number of drivers preloaded on your system. It should only use the ones required at the time. There can always be glitches in the software and such, but typically it shouldn't matter.

The only time I'd really make sure you remove old drives is if the drivers also installed additional software. For example, Nvidia and their nvidia control panel, background services, and other such junk.
