Hi guys,
Ive just purchased a laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium preinstalled. The thing is that its 32bit. I decided to install the 64bit version. The problem is when I try to activate windows the response goes like this 'The Windows 7 Home Premium product key you typed is invalid for activation'. Ive made sure that I installed the correct operating system and used the oem key that was used on my 32bit. My question is:
Did I do something wrong?
Is there a way to tackle this?
Are the keys different to 32 and 64 bit?
hopefully there are some suggestions that will fix this issue or an explanation of im supposed to do. thanks in advanced.
