Installing Windows XP Pro SP2 with Full Drivers

Is there a way to install XP in a way such that you can use the hard drive in 90% of computers and not have any driver problems other than it detecting the new hardware and using its own built in drivers for them automatically?

Kind of like a master HD that you can plug into messed up systems or travel with. I'd like to be able to do this without needing to access the internet for drivers. I wouldn't mind as much having to have an external drive with a full list of drivers to load from after booting from the main HD. Is this possible?

That gives basic info on the process, including what to download, where to download it from, and how to extract it.I'd recommend DLing a program called nlite (do a Yahoo search) and it will walk you through the process of actually creating a bootable CD
