How do i install windows from scratch on a brand new Hard Drive

just insert the xp cd in to the cd drive, and boot. You may get an option saying "press (x) to boot from cd". Once you have booted from cd the installation process will begin. If your having trouble then post back

be sure, to set ur BIOS to make the cdrom the first device priotiy. and then as apj101 said it is so simple to continue

If your xp cd is bootable, you may need to create xp boot disks, which can be downloaded from the microsoft website. That's what I used. Eventually.

What apj101 said is the most propable solution, if it does not boot try one of the
F8->F12 it will allow you to choose your boot device
