installing xp on dell vostro 1520 and no LAN connection!!!

Hi guys!
I just installed xp on my dell vostro 1520(vista)!!!now I m looking for a local area connection in network connections but there is only 1394 connection!!I think it should be something with my NIC but dont know what to do...any help?

You need to install any drivers that wasn't installed by vista. Here is the driver for your lan connection.

Most likely you have other drivers that need to be installed, look in device manager.

I know my Dell came with a CD, that had drivers on it. All I had to do was pop that in, select drivers that I needed to get, and it installed them. Did your's not come with anything like that? I would think it did.

I have almost same dell, and win xp on it. Drivers from CD working just fine. MB its Win Servis Pack problem?
