Insurgency Mod problem

Hey guys,

I just installed Insurgency Mod for HL2 and then installed the latest 1.1 patch BUT i launched Insurgency and get this damn error

i typed that error code in google but found nothing?

any help greatly appreciated.

Once you saw the latest update go on that changed the dynamics of how the mod works. Mods are intended for use on the original installation without any patches. You'll find that be the case with any game unless the mod already requires a update patch be applied first. Now you need a clean install of HL2 in order to see the mod work.

pceye i re-installed insurgency but this time didnt apply the 1.1 patch and it works fine.

does anyone know how to switch fire modes like burst etc?

That will have to be answered by someone that has used the mod already. When going to run HL2 or EP1 or EP2 the automatic updates settle that fast enough.
