Intake Fan Modification?

I have a pretty high CPU temp, and was wondering ways I could lower it, I already have a Artic Freezer 7 Pro and AS5, so I was thinking I could modify my intake fan.

1. Would removing the intake fan grate help more cool air enter the case?

2.Is there any way I could direct the fan up towards the CPU?

Any other suggestions are welcome. Thanks! :)

You could add a vent tube or something from the fan towards the cpu cooler, just a tube that points at the fan on the cooler.

I have the AC 7 Pro also, I modded an 80mm dan on the front of my case, check the sig for images.

I don't have room for any more fans on the front, but urs looks nice. :)
What about the intake fan grate, should I keep it on or remove it?
Could you show me a link for a vent tube or some suggestions?

easiest way. get a electric leaf blower, attach to fan port and your computer will be cool. :D

What do you mean by grate, like an anti-dust thing, if so, remove it, just clean the fan every now and again :)

Yea, its like an anti-dust thing. Will I get that much difference in temps by removing it?
What about that tube that directs the air towards the CPU, any info on that?

Geez, thats a monster! I have my HDD cage there so I probably wouldn't be able to fit ANYTHING like that lol.

I dont think they come smaller unless the fan vent size is smaller too. usually 80mm is standard for the side vent. Unless you have a really high performance 80mm fan, that thing will NOT help your CPU fan out. (example: 40CFM vent fan - 55CFM CPU FAN) it will slow your CPU fan down.
