Intel chipset question

with the 45nm's less than a week away, are there going to be new mobos? would the p35 work great with them or will there be bottlenecks?

I don't think there will be immediate ones. As long as the motherboard is C2D or Quad core compatible then I think it should be okay. I don't think the transistor advance will be an issue.

They have the X38 out which support all of the 45nm processors. Most of the P35's will as well, although some may require a BIOS update.

The next chipset from Intel is going to be the X48, and should be here in early spring.

looks like I will most likely get a P35 because its good and I am running only one GPU. The nVidia chipsets appeal to me as well. We will have to see. Thanks all for the info and advice.
