I know there is a 6300 a 6600 and a 6700 what are the differences and is there a 6800.

there all have different clock speeds but the 6800 is the extreme edition and it has hyperthreading which makes it have 2 more virtual cores

it's kinda right in the title, ones 2mb cache the othere 4 mb, ones 2.13 ghz the others 2.67 ghz

I was under the impression that the extreme edition didn't have hyper-threading. I thought only the pentium extreme had this. ??? anyone?

Hyperthreading would be virtually useless, since it already has 2 cores, and nothing needs 4 cores...(yet)

Just wondering but how long do you think it'll be before prices drop again for core 2 duo's? and does anyone know of a really good mobo for the core 2 duo e6600?

I wouldn't. Why pay more for 200mhz? Get the 6600 or the 6400 is good too.
