Intel Core 2 question

and would i be able to use this shuttle barebone with it: http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/115837/rb/22963594822

The barebone says that it is socket 775, but it says it has a 250w power supply, can i get a higher powered supply from shuttle if the cpu works with it?

No it won't work, that motherboard only supports up to an 800Mhz bus. I strongly recommend buying an Intel or nVidia based chipset, such as the 965x or 590. Via and SiS chipsets are horrible.
