The other day, I bought a Intel DB D875PBZ from my dads friend for $200. Came with a nice video card, P4 2.8 GHz with HT, 1 GB Geil memory, generic CPU, and a Master Power 350 Watt ATX PSU. No case though, but thats not the problem.
I took out a old mobo from a really old computer (450 MHz, shocking -- too bad I have a perfect condition 75 MHz IBM, I know your jealous). I put the new mobo in there (the CPU and fan was already connected, so was the memory -- and this guy was just using the computer a week earlier, then he finally bought a new AMD dual core FX 60 -- he's a gamer). I connected the cables to the mobo - the 18 pin to power the mobo, the 4 pin to power the CPU, etc. It just doesn't want too boot. I do get power to the mobo, as a LED on the mobo turns on, but it just doesn't boot. I have tried numerous methods too get it too run, but it still fails.
I was thinking that it might be the wires that go from the power jumper set to the power button, so I might give that a go.
Help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Josh
