Intel DP45SG and and OCZ Ram problem...

Hi all,

I just did a new build. I have an Intel DP45SG board and OCZ3G1333 1GB X 3 sticks.

Here's the thing, on auto settings, it detects the ram timing as 7-7-7-20 (even though it's 9-9-9), the voltage as 1.5 (not 1.65 as it should be) and 1033mhz, not 1333mhz...

When I plug in all 3 sticks the system boots just fine, however, after using Vista for a little while (maybe 5 min or so) I get a BSO: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA.

If I use 2 sticks (any two sticks) everything works great. Only when I have the three sticks in I have the issue.

I called OZC, they said to adjust the settings in my BIOS to better accommodate the ram. I did so to the proper specs. Now my system won't post with more then one stick in...

Any ideas?!?!

HELP! PLEASE!

hhm well the first thing i could tell you to do is change the settings back becouse it was working better that way then for the time being just use 2 sticks... try getting a newer version of bios and look for new drivers for that specific RAM and try to get (if you can) one close to your system specs... hope it helped:)

Thanks for the advice.

So you suspect it's a software problem then (BIOS, drivers, etc).

There is no reason it wouldn't work with my board as far as you know, correct?

Thanks!

hhm well the only other thing i could think of is to fast, to many pins or lack thereof and your welcome
