Intel DP45SG Problem with Corsair XMS3 RAM

Hi everyone,
I built a gaming PC about 2 1/2 years ago (specs below). Ever since I finished building it, the RAM must be set at 1066 MHz or else the computer will spontaneously lock up or reboot.
I want to get working RAM at 1333 MHz because I upgraded my video card from an EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX+ to an MSI GeForce GTX 560 and the video card is being bottlenecked by the CPU and RAM.
Other people with the same motherboard have had problems with numerous different types of RAM, including the type I am using. I've heard all different types of solutions, such as using PC3-10600 RAM or using 1 GB chips.

I'm not sure if I should try to fix my current setup by altering timings, voltages, etc. or if I should try buying new RAM.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
