I have recently purchased a Fanless computer to run on my boat with the
GM45 Express Chipset. It currently has 2 x 2GB DDR2 800mhz of RAM but I read on the Intel website that this Chipset supports both DDR2 and DDR3.

Can anyone tell me if I can replace the DDR2 RAM with DDR3 RAM as I thought the slots on the RAM were different between 2 and 3, also would it be worth doing this for the gains I would get.
