Intel GMA/3000

Hey there :)

I'm new here and was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on my confusion?

I'm looking to buy this laptop ... http://www.asuslaptop.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=K53E-SX123V-8GB

And was just curious about what the graphic card is? As far as I know the 2nd-gen cpus have the HD 3000 but that site says the intel GMA HD which I thought was the card even before the 1st gen "I" cpus :S

So does anyone know if this is just a wording error or the actual card? Any help appreciated :)

It's just what it is; an integrated Intel GMA (Graphics Media Accelerator) HD Chipset. It's not going to be very powerful.

Yer I'm not looking for a super duper laptop or anything. Only some mild gaming, mostly browsing and stuff. Was just wondering what version of the card it actually was. Would be cool to have the 3000 I guess, it's meant to be better than the older cards which is what I'm thinking this is xD

GMA HD 2000 and plain HD 2000 are the same thing, the GMA part is just normally left out, some sites will say GMA HD and others not, but they are the same thing.
