I have an intel i5-3470 and i am running windows 7 ultimate. I think my cpu may be overheating, at idle the temperature is fine (70-80 F)but when i play a computer game for a couple hours the cpu gets to (100-110 F) this is too hot for this cpu correct?

Yes i am 100% sure it is Fahrenheit and not Celsius. Ive been told by some that it is too high, but more people are telling me that the temperature is ok so far. Ur serious? It can get up to 200f and b ok?

no. Its not bad at all. You can go subzero (in c) without issue. LN2 does that quite well.

Your temps just seem low. But based on the fact that your CPU has very limited OC, and is 22nm, I guess it is an okay temp. Especially if you are not on the crappy intel cooler.

Ummmmmm, yeeaaaa, about that. I still have the stock cpu cooler. I was told by many not to replace it unless i had heat problems
