Intel i5 need a graphics card?

I have an INTEL CORE I5 661 3.33G CPU with a GIGABYTE GA-H57M-USB3 LGA 1156 Intel H57 HDMI USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel MoBo. (new for x-mas). Pleased with system. I also have from my older machine a Galaxy GeForce GT240 1GB ddr3 graphics card. Do you think it would be a plus to install the graphics card in my new system? I understand the Intel i5 CPU's handle graphics on their own. I am a gamer and video editor. I don't want to add it if it will be detrimental to my new system. I guess I could just try it both ways. Any thoughts or experiences? Thanx

The 240 is a lowend card but still better than integrated.

The best way to test would be try yourself. If you're looking for a new card, I'd recommend a GTX 460 1gb (non-SE model) or a Radeon 6850
