Intel Pentium D 925 with DRM?

Hi, I just bought a computer with windows vista, and I was wondering if my cpu was
equipped with DRM technology? I used CPU-Z to find out the info for my processor.
It said Intel Pentium D 925, codename: Presler

I would also like to know how the dual core works on my chip. Does it use the
full 3 ghz if the program/game only uses a single thread ? I guess it must,
but i'm not sure...

Vista has DRM all over it, but your processor does not.

Dual cores can increase performance significantly over single core processors because even simple tasks get full process priority, while the background tasks and services are in use of the other core. When multitasking it is also good because each program can have their own core instead of one core juggling both tasks.
 
cool, so that means that intel and microsoft can't spy on me even though vista has drm but not my cpu?
I found out that my motherboard has the chip, does that matter? (Intel Desktop Board D946GZIS)

DRM stands for digital rights management, your processor and motherboard dont have DRM integrated into them.

And just to let you know, the Pentium D and 945 chipset are old, no where near their "latest technology".
