My Buddie has an AMD Athlon 64 x2 3800+ . I was wondering how my CPU matches up to it,and is it better than mine in gaming? And we have the same Video Card ,thanks in advance. :)
 
Since you dont tell us if his is OCed or not, it is a hard question to answer. Overall, his CPU is better, performancewise and tempuraturewise. You may have outdone the 3800+ just because you have a higher clock, but the 3800+ may still have the advantage in some applications. From this site,

It appears that your CPU is slightly better, but i would still like the 3800+ for the lower tempuratures for very similar performance.
 
Your CPU is better, but you paid the money for it...it is like comparing an expensive processor with a cheap one. Yours is better, but he paid less money. The performance difference isn't big.
 
Both are at regular clock speeds,and my CPU runs pretty cool.I have a Zalman installed and it runs at 105 F idle and 125 F at full load.Before it would run at 138F idle and 155 F at full load.
