Intel Price cuts?

I've heard a bunch of talk about AMD processor price cuts due to Conroe, but what about Intel price cuts? I want to upgrade my processor, but if theres gonna be a proce cut I definately wanna wait for it. Has anyone heard anything about it?
 
It will come whenever AMD brings out a new processor :D

They really haven't said anything, but probably a month or 2 after Conroe comes out...or something like that
 
Intel price cuts will happen around the same time so that the old processors wont be paper weights.

Nothing keeps them from being paperweights, just making them less expensive ones.
 
Well, my moddo has always been about the best bang for the buck. If Conroe is offering better performance, good for them, but for my $180ish I'll have for a CPU, whatever CPU offers me more for that money (weather its price cuts or older tech), I'll take it. So if AMD cuts down the price on an A64 to make that the most viable bang for my buck/best performer in that range, I'll go with AMD then.
