Intel will cut the price of Q6600 and it will release two new Quad-core in Q3 2007

Not to get a little off topic, but the roomor was that on April 22nd Intel would price cut the whole Core 2 Duo Line up and release a few 45mm Core 2 Duo Processors with 1333 FSB, but now I'm reading on this website: http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=6484 that the price cuts aren't going to happen until Q3 when the price cut of the Q6600 comes around. So which rumor seems more true? The one I heard about over a month ago saying that the price cuts and new processors are coming out in April or the latest one I just heard about that says they aren't releasing anything new until Q3? I would like to know because I planed on building my first PC and waiting until the end of April and building it with one of the new 1333FSB processors, but now I don't know whether the 1333FSB processors will be out by then.

hardware generally has a lifespan of 5 years before it's obsolete.

The quad cores are the first of their kind, tho. Hardware may go in a totally different direction, it's a true possibility not much software will ever be written for it.

It's sort of like a prototype, if you will.

Chances are good that's the direction hardware's going, but you really never know.

yeh i know that, come on. I said when in quarter 3 not when is quarter 3? so can anybody tell me when the price drop will be in quarter 3?
