Interesting Software

I really wasn't sure if I should put this thread in general software or networking because it kind of has elements of both.

When I was younger I remember my computer teacher showing us examples of what we were supposed to do by taking control of our computers using some kind software. So I was wondering what kind of software will allow me to do that on a network. I have full administrator rights to all of the computers I will be dealing with. Thanks. :D

VNC server/viewer is my perosnal choice. Install the server on the computers you want to control, then load viewer on yours, enter in the internal ip of the computer andaway you go

Radmin is one I've dabbled with, it lets you remotely turn the pc's on remotely as well, so long as you have motherboards that support that function.
