You should a little more detailed in what you are having problems with. It would be helpful to know the program being installed as well as the type of hard drives changed. Is this with an ide swapped for another ide, a sata swapped for a sata, an ide swapped for a sata, or a sata swapped for an ide? Often you will get error messages when using different optical to install programs.

thank you PC Eye for your consideration. First am not good at computers sorry if i did unswer your question. My problem is that i am havig proplem a software installation Macromedia studio(dramwaver ver 8) as soo as i put the CD in the computer automaticly i get a pop up from the CD saying "macromedia studio 8 retail by salusoft interface not suoported" then ones every thing installed or canceled another massage comes up says "setup. exe has genarated error and will be closed by windows. you will need to restrart the program. An error log is being created"

History: i previously installed this software and was working fine with my old hard disk which i changed (i am using new hardisk now).

Did you change brands when swapping out the old for the new or was a change seen in drive types like going from an ide type drive to a Serial ATA drive? I didn't find any faqs for troubleshooting that would apply to installation problems at the Adobe support site. But the link here is for direct contact by email with their support staff. They will want some information on the new drive installed to see if that has anything to do with the problems you are seeing there. https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/support/index.cfm?event=membership&returnURL=%2Fcfusion%2Fsupport%2Findex%2Ecfm%3Fevent%3Dportal%26loc%3Den%5Fus&loc=en_us
