When I capture footage from my sony cam, I get this lines from interlacing while I have moving shots. I checked and tried to change all the settings but with no use.
I'm using firewire. First I thuoght it's the camera, so I tried another one, but it seems it's computer. I even updated dv driver - no use.

It sounds normal. TV video works though interlacing frames, where a computer monitor doesn't. It'll look fine if you export it to your TV. Though if you just want it on your computer, there are various ways to deinterlace it. I know adobe primere has an option...

As for how it looks on other computers, I have seen some computers that seem to show the interlace lines worse than others. If you could just deinterlace it, everything would probably be fine... Try exporting it to the TV if it's still in DV format. I bet it'll look fine there...

That's the problem with some dv cams if you get a camera with progressive scan, then you don't have to worry about it.
