Intermitent Cracking Sound

Hi Guys

I have this problem, when i play games/listen to music etc that everytime there is sound, i get a crack sound like every 2 seconds. not too loud, but noticable. when its lower volume stuff, or not as much going on, its louder and much more annoying. It sounds like its not earthed in a way. I tried earthing my case and still doesnt work

now i upgraded PCs, and this problem still continues. all new parts except case and GFX card, and its the same crap. i eve tried changing speakers and headphones and it still does the same.

what could it be.

disable display drivers see if it still does it? Also download DPC Latency Checker and see what that shows.

I had a similar problem where everytime i would change song or scroll through itunes or something like that i would get a heap of crackling which was due to latency issues. Never really found a solution to this except installed the latest itunes which fixed it in itunes but not other stuff. Update drivers that has helped me

Try another power supply.
Also check your audio leads for wear and tear.
