Can someone tell me if theres a way to get rid of your internal IP so I can play AOE3 over hamachi? Many thanks.

start>run>type cmd>type ipconfig /release

You will then have no ip.

Wouldn't that cause him to lose his internet connection though...He needs to play over Hamachi still.

Try disabling every interface that isnt in use (ie: only adapters NOT disabled are your LAN/WIRELESS and the Hamachi interface. Then, when you are still at your internet adapter screen, go to ADVANCED in the tool bar and go to advanced settings. Move your hamachi adapter to the top of this list to make it take the highest priority.

Some games will not support Hamachi because of its high pings though

Yes it will cause him to loss internet. I am sorry I was not familiar with Hamachi. I looked it up and it is for VPN connection. So disregard my first quote.

This makes no sence ... why would your internal ip matter?

Rethink your question, and tell us what you are trying to do.
