Internal to external?

Hi. I'd like to make an internal hard drive look like a USB external hard drive (to the computer I mean, lol).

What software will help me do that?

A enclosure will work just fine. Newegg has tons of them. No software is required unless you're running Windows 98.

You cant make an IDE or SATA connector appear as a USB. Even if you could, it would act exactly the same as it would with just SATA or IDE.

You can buy an external enclosure to make it USB compatible however.

what would be the point in making the hdd look like a USB drive?!!

Yes, cause I want to synchro my music library to one of my HDDs, and Windows Media Player only does it on external devices.
