Hello Seth.
The application I use to keep an eye on my Internet / bandwidth is called 'DU Meter'. It has a little desktop graph that shows you how much you are using (both a visual reading and an actual meter reading). It also charts up how much you have downloaded / uploaded in the past day, week and month proving great to keep track of how much bandwidth you use.
Definitely the best application I have ran into for bandwidth monitoring. So I recommend that! Really worth the money.
