Internet closing down on specific pages

My internet just randomly shuts itself down when i go onto certain internet pages, these happen to be some of the most popular pages i normally use, anyone know the problem?

I had this problem while using a wireless router..wouldn't let me load any google pages and would freeze when it tried to load a page with a google ad on it...never could figure it out best I could do (while in wireless mode) was resetting the connection while the page was trying to load...it was a computer at work so I never really cared much lol curious if its the same thing with youa nd also if anyone else has ran into this prob or figured out a fix?
